The champion squad accumulated an impressive total of 225 points, mainly driven by their remarkable 152 elimination points and five Chicken Dinner victories. One of their standout players, East, proved to be the top fragger of the PMRC 2023 SA vs. SEA competition.
In second place, we had Boom Esports from Indonesia, who entered the tournament as the champions of the PMPL in their country. They consistently performed well and were awarded a prize of $2,000.
NB Esports, also from Mongolia, secured the third spot with a commendable total of 159 points. While their gameplay in the final two days was relatively average, their expertise in securing placement points played a crucial role in their overall ranking.
HAIL Esports from Thailand had a modest start, initially placing 10th at the end of Day 2. However, they displayed remarkable gameplay and resilience, allowing them to climb their way to the top five and ultimately achieve a commendable fourth-place finish.
Stalwart Esports, the reigning champions from South Asia, settled for fifth place with a total of 151 points. Despite their undeniable skills, they faced tough competition and narrowly missed out on a higher rank. The strong representation of three Mongolian teams in the top five highlighted the country's potential to produce exceptional talents in the esports arena.
AgonxI8, the champions from Pakistan, secured the sixth spot with 151 points. FaZe Clan, despite a promising start, experienced a decline in performance and ended up in seventh place with a total of 137 points.
Rosemary from Alter Ego emerged as the tournament's MVP, displaying exceptional skills with 32 eliminations and dealing over 10,000 HP of damage. However, despite their standout player, Alter Ego could not make a significant impact in the competition and settled for an eighth-place finish.
Established teams like Yoodo Alliance, DRS Gaming, and Vampire Esports faced difficulties finding their momentum and ultimately placed 11th, 12th, and 14th, respectively. Leo Esports, winners of the PUBG Mobile Nepal Series, finished last in the PMRC event.
Overall, the PMRC SA vs. SEA tournament proved to be a challenging and exciting competition, showcasing the talent and skill of teams from South Asia and Southeast Asia.
