Recent leaks suggest that Nvidia GeForce Now might soon be available on Xbox consoles, potentially indicating a fully cloud-based future for Xbox and Microsoft. Images that surfaced online show Nvidia GeForce Now options on Xbox, hinting that subscribers will be able to stream games directly from Nvidia’s servers to their Xbox consoles.

Screenshots included in the leak display games such as Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil Village Gold being streamed, apparently from Japanese consoles. The leak originated from a tweet by former journalist eXtas1s.

Nvidia and Xbox already share a partnership, with Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard titles available on GeForce Now. However, this new development could significantly enhance the experience for Xbox users, offering more ways to access Xbox games. With the gaming industry trending towards digital and cloud-based solutions, a stronger alliance with Nvidia, a leader in cloud gaming, could be a smart move for Microsoft.

Moreover, this partnership could potentially allow PlayStation games to be streamed on Xbox consoles via GeForce Now, fitting into Microsoft's multi-platform strategy outlined in Project Latitude.

This leak comes shortly after Microsoft announced a partnership with Amazon to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to Fire TV sticks.

At this stage, these details remain unconfirmed rumors. We have reached out to Nvidia and Xbox for official comments.
