Oceanic esports organization Chiefs Esports Club has announced a year-long partnership with telecommunications company Aussie Broadband. This collaboration aims to develop innovative gamer-focused experiences, products, and services that enhance the gaming community in Australia.
In a related announcement, it was revealed that Team Bliss, another Australian esports organization, will also be included in the Aussie Broadband deal. Team Bliss acquired Chiefs Esports Club last year, but both organizations continue to operate independently, maintaining their unique identities in the esports landscape.
Founded in 2014, Chiefs Esports Club primarily competes in the Rocket League scene and most recently participated in the RLCS 2024 Major 2 in London. The organization previously fielded a League of Legends roster in the Oceanic scene (LCO), but following the acquisition by Team Bliss, that spot was taken over by FURY Global.
Aussie Broadband joins an impressive commercial portfolio for Chiefs Esports Club, which already includes partnerships with renowned brands such as Logitech G, Westfield, and Bond University.
Brendan Harms, Chief Operating Officer of Chiefs Esports Club, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “A partnership with a trusted brand like Aussie Broadband makes complete sense to us at The Chiefs. We are committed to the continued growth of esports and gaming in Australia, and Aussie Broadband shares the same sentiment. I’m personally very excited for what we can achieve together.”
With this new partnership, Chiefs Esports Club is poised to strengthen its presence in the esports community while providing enhanced services and experiences for gamers across Australia.
