Multinational esports organization Team Liquid has announced a strategic partnership with global credit card brand Visa for its VCT Game Changers roster. Under the terms of the deal, the team will compete in the Brazilian Game Changers circuit under the banner of Team Liquid Visa, prominently featuring Visa's logo on the front of their jerseys.

In an announcement shared on LinkedIn, Team Liquid expressed pride in their new partnership, stating, "We're proud to announce the newest Team Liquid partnership: Visa. The biggest inclusive team in Latin America has taken the next step in its journey and now we are Team Liquid Visa."

VCT Game Changers is a premier VALORANT league introduced in 2021 specifically for marginalized genders, running alongside the regular VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) circuit. Team Liquid, known for their strong presence in esports globally, acquired the Gamelanders Purple roster in 2022 and has since been a formidable contender in Game Changers Brazil.

The team's track record includes consistent top performances both regionally and on the international stage. As with the regular VCT format, the Game Changers leagues culminate in an annual international competition known as the VCT Game Changers Championship.

Team Liquid Visa has notably secured third and second place at the VCT Game Changers Championship in 2022 and 2023, respectively, and is poised to qualify for the upcoming 2024 championship. Scheduled from November 8th to 17th at Riot Games Arena in Berlin, this year's championship promises intense competition and global recognition.

Visa, a stalwart supporter of esports, has been involved in the industry for years, previously partnering with esports giants like SK Gaming and collaborating with FACEIT since 2019. This year, Visa has expanded its esports footprint by teaming up with Argentine esports organization Leviatán and launching an esports academy initiative with Natus Vincere (NAVI).

The partnership with Team Liquid adds Visa to an expanding commercial portfolio that includes other notable brands such as Sui, Alienware, and Coinbase. The collaboration underscores Visa's commitment to esports and its role in supporting inclusive gaming environments worldwide.

As Team Liquid Visa prepares for the upcoming challenges in the VCT Game Changers circuit, the partnership aims to elevate both brands within the esports community while fostering diversity and excellence in competitive gaming.
