In the thrilling conclusion to the inaugural Esports World Cup (EWC), Team Falcons emerged as the standout champions, showcasing their dominance across the competitive gaming landscape. Held over eight weeks, this global tournament featured 22 different esports titles, but no team left a mark quite like Team Falcons did in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Representing their home country with pride, Team Falcons competed in an impressive 18 of the 22 games at EWC 2024. Their skill and versatility were on full display as they not only clinched first place in high-profile titles like Free Fire and Call of Duty Warzone, but also secured strong second-place finishes in several other competitions, including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup, Apex Legends, Rocket League, and TEKKEN 8. Notably, Atif “ATIF” Ijaz played a crucial role, delivering standout performances that contributed to these successes.

Their remarkable achievements across multiple games earned them the top spot in the EWC 2024 Club Championship Points standings. With a staggering total of 5,665 points, Team Falcons outpaced their closest competitor, Team Liquid, who finished with 2,545 points. The sheer scale of their victory was so significant that Team Falcons had already secured their first-place position by August 17, 2024—over a week before the tournament's official end.

“This is for all the Saudi people. It remains in Saudi,” said an emotional Mossad "Msdossary" Al-Dossary, CEO of Team Falcons, in a stage interview after the victory. The triumph not only earned Team Falcons a monumental $7,000,000 in prize money but also solidified their place in esports history with global bragging rights.

As the inaugural EWC wraps up, Team Falcons' performance stands as a testament to their skill, determination, and the growing prominence of esports in the region.
