Asian esports and gaming company Ampverse has announced the addition of several prominent global executives to its Advisory Board. This diverse group, drawn from the sectors of gaming, advertising, investment, technology, and media, is set to play a key role in driving the company's ambitious expansion plans.
The newly appointed Advisory Board includes John Redgrave, former VP of social platform Discord, and Marcus John, CEO of Sports Capital Advisors. Also joining the board are Rohit Sharma, former COO and Board Member of AnyMind Group, and Chirag Shah, a co-founder of several ad tech companies, both based in Mumbai. Rounding out the team are Oliver Woodley, Global Commercial Director of Soho House Group in London, and Gita Ramakrishnan, an experienced investor with over 20 years in capital markets.
The decision to form an Advisory Board reflects Ampverse's strategic push to accelerate its growth. Under the leadership of CEO Charlie Baillie, the board is expected to significantly influence the company's next phase of development. This move follows Ampverse's previous expansion efforts, including a partnership with DMI Finance last year to bolster its presence in Indian esports.
Founded in 2019, the Singapore-based Ampverse Group has made a mark in the esports industry, collaborating with regional entities like Skyesports and partnering with mainstream brands such as Red Bull through its Thai esports organization, Bacon Time.
