Esports tournament platform Challengermode has been appointed as the official platform operator for online tournaments in the Madden NFL 25 Championship Series (MCS). This partnership will see Challengermode host a series of online tournaments from August 2024 until February 2025.
Challengermode’s Role in the MCS
Challengermode will leverage its advanced tools to manage the MCS space, a dedicated hub designed to streamline tournament operations and enhance the viewing experience. The MCS hub on Challengermode’s platform will offer players, staff, and spectators a central location for tournament management and live viewing. Teams will have the flexibility to update their hub at any time, ensuring they maintain control over content and layout throughout the season.
The qualifiers for the Madden Bowl, the grand finale of the MCS, are set to kick off on August 14th. Players from the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia are eligible to compete, broadening the tournament’s reach and inclusivity.
Expanding Madden NFL’s Esports Presence
The NFL has been increasingly active in the esports arena. In 2023, the league partnered with the United Service Organisations (USO), and EA SPORTS recently expanded its deal with the NFL to boost the MCS’s prize pool and introduce monthly challenges. This collaboration with Challengermode further underscores the NFL’s commitment to growing its esports footprint.
