Fnatic Unveils Fnatic Plus: A New Esports Subscription Service

European esports powerhouse Fnatic has announced the launch of its new subscription service, Fnatic Plus. This membership program is designed to enhance the fan experience by offering a suite of exclusive benefits.

For a monthly fee of €4.99, Fnatic Plus subscribers gain access to a variety of perks. These include entry into monthly prize draws, a 15% discount on purchases from the Fnatic shop, and access to exclusive events. Additionally, members can enjoy unique merchandise items, early access to new product launches, and customisation options within Fnatic’s mobile app.

The new service was unveiled on August 1st through a promotional video on Fnatic’s social media channels. The clip features several of the organisation’s members discussing the benefits of Fnatic Plus. Fnatic’s Founder and CEO, Sam Matthews, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his excitement: “We’ve been working on this all year, and we really want to use it to build around our fans even more. We really mean it when we say that supporting us means a lot; this will help build a stronger team for all of us to watch.”

Fnatic Plus replaces the organisation’s previous membership program, which was launched in partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com in 2022. That program featured three tiers based on blockchain technology and NFTs. While many perks from the Crypto.com program have been integrated into Fnatic Plus, Pioneer and Core members will retain their Discord roles and badges. Pioneer key holders will also continue to receive a custom jersey each year.

The timing of this launch is particularly notable, as Fnatic recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Known for its success in games like League of Legends, VALORANT, and Counter-Strike, Fnatic has broadened its reach this year, expanding into titles such as Overwatch 2, Tekken, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The organisation has also formed new partnerships with brands including Steelcase, Pot Noodle, and Betify, further solidifying its position in the esports industry.

Fnatic Plus marks an exciting new chapter for the organisation as it seeks to deepen its connection with fans and enhance their overall experience.
