During Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, it was revealed that Genshin Impact will be coming to Xbox Series X/S on November 20, 2024. The popular RPG will also be available on Xbox Game Pass, promising exciting opportunities for subscribers.

Released in 2020, Genshin Impact quickly became a hit with its expansive open world and engaging gameplay. The game has seen significant growth, introducing new regions such as Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine. Despite its success, the game had not yet been available on Xbox platforms.

A new trailer unveiled during the Gamescom event showcased images of the upcoming Natlan region, which will be part of the game's 5.0 update. While the game is free-to-play, Xbox Game Pass subscribers may receive special perks, such as exclusive cosmetic rewards or in-game currency like Primogems.

Currently, Genshin Impact is available on PC, mobile, PS4, and PS5. The addition of Xbox Series X/S to its platform lineup is expected to further enhance its reach and popularity. However, there is still no confirmed release date for the Nintendo Switch port, which has faced delays and ongoing uncertainty.

HoYoverse, the developer behind Genshin Impact, is also working on other projects including Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. Recent job listings suggest the studio might be developing a new, unannounced game, possibly using Unreal Engine 5. However, details about this potential project remain scarce as HoYoverse continues to focus on its existing titles.
