Electronics giant Samsung has teamed up with Web3 company Illuvium in a new partnership focused on Illuvium’s universe of interconnected games. The collaboration will be showcased at Gamescom 2024, where Illuvium will feature prominently at Samsung's booth, specifically on select Samsung Web3 TVs.

At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to experience all three of Illuvium’s games: Overworld, Arena, and Zero. Notably, Arena will highlight its potential in the esports realm through community events and livestreams, aiming to make a strong impression in the competitive gaming scene.

The partnership includes the GEN3RATOR campaign, which aims to bridge the gap between the Illuvium and Samsung communities. Fans will have the chance to win prizes, including 10 GEN3RATOR NFTs, which provide access to Samsung’s latest digital features outlined on the Samsung Web3 Roadmap.

Illuvium previously collaborated with Team Liquid to promote Illuvium: Arena, where nine of Team Liquid’s streamers showcased the game’s new competitive PvP mode.

Kieran Warwick, CEO and Co-Founder of Illuvium, will also be present at Gamescom, participating in the “Good Morning Gamescom” panel discussion.

Samsung’s engagement with gaming and esports is well-established, with previous partnerships including PUBG Mobile and esports organization NRG, as well as sponsorships of events and teams such as TELUS Esports, GODSENT, and Snapdragon Pro Series. This latest collaboration with Illuvium further solidifies Samsung’s commitment to the gaming and esports communities.
