G FUEL and FaZe Clan announce multi-year partnership

North American esports powerhouse FaZe Clan has announced a new multi-year, multi-million-dollar partnership with energy drink brand G FUEL. This marks a significant return to collaboration for the two brands, who previously worked together until 2022 before FaZe Clan partnered with GHOST. Under the new agreement, which is one of the largest deals in GameSquare’s history, FaZe Clan and G FUEL will join forces to develop new content and products.

As part of this deal, FaZe Media, FaZe Clan’s recently established creator-led media company, will also gain equity in G FUEL. FaZe Media, which sold a 25.5% share to Richard ‘FaZe Banks’ Bengston, CEO of FaZe Clan and one of its original founders, will leverage this partnership to amplify its presence in the gaming and content creation spheres.

The partnership will kick off with G FUEL serving as the presenting sponsor for the FaZe Clan Subathon, a month-long streaming event starting this September. The FaZe House will be rebranded as the ‘FaZe G FUEL House’ during the event, paying homage to the original FaZe house sponsored by G FUEL in 2014.

In addition to the Subathon, FaZe Clan and G FUEL will collaborate on in-person events and co-branded products, further strengthening their partnership.

G FUEL has a notable history in the gaming and esports community, sponsoring prominent figures like Nicholas ‘Jynxzi’ Stewart, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, and Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, as well as organizations like Sentinels. G FUEL CEO Bryan Crowley expressed enthusiasm about the renewed partnership, highlighting its potential to deepen connections with fans, creators, and partners while driving innovation and engagement within the global gaming community.

This partnership represents a significant milestone for both FaZe Clan and G FUEL, marking a new chapter in their shared history and setting the stage for exciting developments in the gaming and esports industry.
