Global energy drink and entertainment giant Red Bull has announced an exciting new documentary titled T1 Rose Together. The feature-length film will spotlight South Korean esports organization T1 and their journey to victory at the 2023 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds).
Produced by Red Bull Media House, T1 Rose Together is set to premiere on September 20th worldwide. However, fans in South Korea will have the chance to view the documentary in advance, with screenings at 37 locations across the country from September 4th to September 18th. To mark the release, Red Bull will also launch a custom can featuring artwork related to the documentary.
The film chronicles T1’s remarkable 2023 season, beginning with their performance at the 2022 Worlds and covering their journey through various splits of the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea). It culminates with T1’s triumphant win at the 2023 Worlds, where they secured the championship trophy. The documentary will also delve into the challenges T1 faced, including their losses at the 2023 LCK Spring, MSI (Mid-Season Invitational), and LCK Summer.
T1 Rose Together features exclusive insights from T1 players Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, Mun “Oner” Hyeon-joon, Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong, and Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok, as well as contributions from their families, coaches, casters, and other influential figures within the esports community.
The global premiere of the documentary will take place just five days before the start of the 2024 League of Legends World Championship, which kicks off with the Play-In stage on September 25th and concludes with the Grand Finals on November 2nd at the O2 Arena in London.
